HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot swelled to a life-changing $1,544,343.82 for Thursday’s card at Gulfstream Park when the popular multi-race wager went unsolved for the 41st consecutive day Sunday.

Multiple tickets with six winners were each worth $50,583.20.

Along with the Rainbow 6, Thursday’s program will also have a Late Pick 5 carryover of $43,846.23 and a Super Hi 5 carryover of $12,628.74.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

The Rainbow 6 was last solved July 6, when one lucky bettor hit for a $173,583.90 jackpot payoff.

The carryover jackpot stood at $1,457,629.59 at the start of Rainbow 6 wagering Sunday, when a total of $361,345 was bet into the multi-race pool.
